Terrine de Paris bowl naturel

Terrine de Paris bowl from the French Manufacture de Digoin. Originally, this bowl was used by butchers to prepare pâtés and more. Today, it can also be used as a baking dish, fruit bowl or for salads.

The Manufacture de Digoin factory was founded in 1875 as a craft and family business in Burgundy, France. Around the year 1900, the area of Digoin and Paray-le-Monial was known as “Ceramic Valley” and home to about forty factories. Since then, artisans from the Manufacture de Digoin have been producing products made of stoneware. Their ambition is to preserve a historic craft. In 2014, Corinne Jourdain breathed life into the business and has brought it back to its former glory.
